Go to Settings, General, and About. The first line reveals the current name of your device. Click on Name and delete the existing name, and write a new one. This will also alter your AirDrop name, since AirDrop utilizes your device name. That’s it. This applies to anyone who would like to know how I can change my AirDrop name or to those who would like to make their devices easily identifiable when exchanging files.
