Hey everyone, I'm working on a project that's starting to scale way faster than I expected and now I'm realizing that performance testing isn't something I can keep putting off. The app runs fine with a handful of users but once traffic picks up even a bit, things start to lag and sometimes even time out. I'm not super experienced with backend optimization, and I feel like I'm hitting a wall trying to figure out if it's my server config, database queries, or just bad code somewhere.
I came across this company called Testing4Success that offers software performance testing services: https://www.testing4success.com/activities/performance.html — has anyone worked with them or used similar services before? I’m curious how helpful these kinds of services are in real-world scenarios. Like, do they actually help pinpoint specific bottlenecks or is it just high-level reports that leave you guessing?
Would really appreciate hearing about your experience if you’ve gone down this road. What should I be looking out for in a legit performance testing service? Did it end up being worth the investment for your app or product?
