Malegra 200 mg contains Sildenafil, the same active ingredient as Viagra, and is used primarily to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Headaches are a well-known side effect of Sildenafil, including in the higher dose found in Malegra 200 mg. Here's why this happens: 1. Mechanism of Action – Blood Vessel Dilation: Sildenafil works by inhibiting the PDE5 enzyme, which results in increased blood flow to the penis, helping to treat erectile dysfunction. However, PDE5 is also found in other parts of the body, including the blood vessels in the brain. When Sildenafil works to dilate blood vessels in the genitals, it can also cause dilation in other areas, including those in the head. Malegra 200 Mg dilation of blood vessels in the brain can lead to increased pressure and result in a headache. 2. Increased Blood Flow: While the primary effect of Sildenafil is focused on the penis, the systemic vasodilation (widening of blood vessels) caused by the drug is not localized. This means that other blood vessels, such as those in the head, can also expand, causing a sensation of pressure or discomfort that manifests as a headache. 3. Impact of High Doses (200 mg): Malegra 200 mg is a high dose of Sildenafil.
