Vilitra, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), contains Vardenafil, which is a PDE5 inhibitor. While it is generally effective and safe for most men with ED, there are certain situations when Vilitra should not be used, either because it could pose a health risk or because it may interact negatively with other medications or conditions. When Vilitra Should Not Be Used: Allergic Reactions: If you have a known allergy to Vardenafil or any of the other ingredients in Vilitra , you should avoid using the medication. Allergic reactions may include symptoms such as rash, itching, swelling, or trouble breathing. Heart Problems: Vilitra can lower blood pressure, and its use should be avoided if you have certain heart conditions, including: Severe heart problems, such as severe coronary artery disease, or recent heart attack (within the last 6 months). Severe heart failure or uncontrolled arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats). If you have had a stroke in the last 6 months, you should also avoid Vilitra. For individuals with mild to moderate heart disease, a doctor’s consultation is necessary before taking Vilitra. Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension): Vilitra can further lower blood pressure. If you already suffer from low blood pressure (hypotension), it’s advised not to take Vilitra or use it with extreme caution. You should consult a doctor to determine whether the medication is safe for you.
