Vidalista 2.5 mg contains tadalafil, a PDE5 inhibitor that is commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Like other medications, Vidalista 2.5 mg can interact with certain medications, which may either increase the risk of side effects or reduce its effectiveness. Potential Drug Interactions with Vidalista 2.5 Mg might interact with other medications and what to be cautious about: Example Drugs: Nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, or any medication used to treat angina (chest pain). Why the Interaction Happens: Tadalafil (and other PDE5 inhibitors) causes vasodilation (relaxing blood vessels) to increase blood flow. Nitrates also lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels. Combining these two medications can cause a severe drop in blood pressure, leading to dizziness, fainting, heart attack, or stroke. Why the Interaction Happens: Both tadalafil and alpha-blockers lower blood pressure. When taken together, they can enhance this effect, leading to symptoms like dizziness, lightheadedness, or even fainting, especially when standing up.
