Cenforce D, which is a combination of sildenafil citrate (the active ingredient in Viagra) and dapoxetine (a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, or SSRI), is primarily used for treating erectile dysfunction (ED) as well as premature ejaculation (PE). While it is an effective treatment for many individuals, there are situations where Cenforce D might be less effective or not work as intended. Here are some key factors that could affect its efficacy: 1. Taking it on an Empty Stomach Effect: Sildenafil (the ED component of Cenforce D) is absorbed more quickly when taken on an empty stomach. However, taking it after a heavy or fatty meal can slow down its absorption and delay its onset of action. What to Do: If you want the best results, try to take Cenforce D at least 30–60 minutes before sexual activity, and avoid eating a large or fatty meal just before taking it. 2. Alcohol Consumption Effect: Drinking alcohol before taking Cenforce D can interfere with its effectiveness. Alcohol can cause vasodilation (dilation of blood vessels), which may exacerbate the blood pressure-lowering effect of sildenafil, potentially leading to side effects like dizziness, lightheadedness, or even fainting. What to Do: It's advisable to limit alcohol consumption when using Cenforce D. Moderate alcohol consumption may not cause issues, but heavy drinking can reduce the effectiveness of the medication and may lead to unwanted side effects. 3. Underlying Health Conditions Heart Problems: Individuals with cardiovascular disease or low blood pressure may find that Cenforce D doesn’t work as effectively or could cause complications.
