Vidalista 40mg is not classified as an alpha blocker. It is primarily a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and contains the active ingredient Tadalafil, which is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. PDE5 inhibitors work by relaxing the muscles in the blood vessels, increasing blood flow to the penis, and helping to achieve and maintain an erection.

On the other hand, alpha blockers, like tamsulosin, are used to treat conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and hypertension. They work by blocking alpha-adrenergic receptors in the smooth muscle, which helps to relax the muscles in the bladder and prostate. While both medications affect smooth muscle, Vidalista 40 is not an alpha blocker.
