Super Tadapox is a medication used to treat both erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE). It contains two active ingredients: Tadalafil (20 mg) – A PDE5 inhibitor similar to Viagra, which works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis to increase blood flow and help men with ED achieve and maintain an erection. Dapoxetine (60 mg) – A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), which helps delay ejaculation and improve control during sexual activity. Why Should Super Tadapox NOT Be Mixed with Nitrates? Nitrate medications (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate) are commonly prescribed for conditions like angina (chest pain) or heart disease to relax blood vessels and increase blood flow to the heart. Super Tadapox combined with Super Tadapox, nitrates can cause a severe and dangerous drop in blood pressure. Here's why: Both Medications Relax Blood Vessels: Tadalafil, like other PDE5 inhibitors, works by relaxing blood vessels in the penis, increasing blood flow and enabling an erection. This process also lowers blood pressure. Nitrates also relax blood vessels to relieve chest pain by improving blood flow to the heart, but they also lower blood pressure. Excessive Drop in Blood Pressure: When Tadalafil and nitrates are taken together, the blood pressure-lowering effects of both drugs can be excessive and dangerous, potentially leading to: Severe hypotension (very low blood pressure) Dizziness Fainting Heart attack or stroke in extreme cases, especially in those with existing heart conditions. Potentially Life-Threatening: This combination can cause severe cardiovascular risks. For men with underlying heart disease, the combination of Super Tadapox and nitrates is particularly dangerous, as it can place excessive strain on the cardiovascular system, leading to serious complications like heart failure or shock.
