section 80g of the income tax act, allows taxpayers in Delhi to make deductions for donations made to eligible charitable businesses and remedy the budget. The deduction can range from 50% to 100% of the donated quantity, depending on the institution. To avail of this benefit donors must obtain a receipt from the enterprise confirming the donation.
